I live in Naas and grew up there.I worked as a social worker until my children were born. I’ve always loved art and about 12 years ago I took up painting. I went to Helen Kelly’s art classes in Naas and immediately I was hooked! I’ve been a member of Naas Art Group for 9 years and I’ve also exhibited at many other local exhibitions since then.

I have a strong love of the West of Ireland, particularly Co. Clare and Inishbofin and I really enjoy painting scenes from those beautiful places.

Recently I studied the principles of art psychotherapy with Crawdford College of Art and Design in Cork and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My other hobbies include walking, reading, going to the theatre and involvement in amateur drama.
