I’m Frances Graham and a self-taught artist, and founder member of Naas Art Group in Naas Co. Kildare.  I have been exhibiting in NAG (Naas Art Group) since 1981.  I have also been a member of Ardclough Art Group in Straffan Co Kildare for a number of years. Mediums I work in are oil, water colour, pastel, acrylic and encaustic.  I have a particular interest in painting animal portraits in pastels, and enjoy capturing their  unique characters.  Portraits include hedgehogs, goats, lop-eared rabbits, cattle, natterjack toad, hippo, cats, dogs, pigs, moths  and hens.  I have participated at a charity event in NCAD titled ‘Operation Art’ a collaborative exhibition between Operation Smile and NCAD. This was a unique opportunity to display my work among many fascinating artists.
