Fidelma Barton is a self-taught mixed media artist, specializing in paint and textile mediums. Her work is characterized by an experimental approach, often blending different techniques across various fabrics.  Inspired by everyday objects and nature, Fidelma employs a diverse colour palette to create works that evoke calmness and tranquillity.  She is dedicated to advancing her artistic practice, actively engaging with the Naas Art Group and other art communities to explore diverse art forms and expand her expertise. As a member of element¹⁵, a contemporary textile art group, Fidelma deepens her knowledge of textiles exploring new creative directions.  Throughout her career, she has successfully exhibited both solo, and in group shows, and she regularly facilitates art classes in her local community.
