Eilis is a landscape artist based outside Newbridge. Her work is inspired by the beauty of the local countryside and bog lands, the West of Ireland and her various travels. Her collection is a personal response to the scenes she encounters in everyday life which she captures in her work. Eilis is motivated by the need to paint for her own and others pleasure and she hopes that her paintings will speak to those who view them. 

Eilis is actively involved in the Art Scene in Kildare. She identified the need and sourced a space for Local Artists to showcase their work back in 2018 when she established PopUpArt Newbridge and continues to source venues to enable the wealth of “untapped” Kildare Connected artists the opportunity to showcase their work to wider audiences than previously available to them.

Eilis facilitates and curators the successful PopupArt Newbridge collective  and continues to  promote and run a minimum of four exhibitions annually at various venues within the county including the Whitewater Shopping Centre, Riverbank Arts Centre, and Newbridge Town hall to name but a few. 

Eilis continues to support the “Kildare Connected” collective and establishing the successful popupartnewbridge.com virtual Gallery website in June 2021 which continues to showcase the work of many.

Eilis has exhibited extensively both locally and country wide e.g.at the Helix; AIB Bankcentre; Incognito and at the Milk Market in Limerick
