Alina is an artist based in Naas, Co. Kildare, whose connection to art began in childhood and has grown into a lifelong passion. Working primarily in oil, she brings to life animals, birds, landscapes, and seascapes with a style rooted in realism and a deep appreciation for detail.
She is drawn to the subtle elements that often go unnoticed — the texture of tiny hairs, the curve of a leaf, the movement of grass, the soft wrinkles around an animal’s eyes, or the warm glow of a sunset. These details not only define her technique but also shape the emotional atmosphere of her work.
For Alina, painting is an intimate dialogue between artist and subject. She strives to capture the spirit and emotion of the animals she portrays, allowing their presence to guide each brushstroke. Her hope is that viewers feel that same connection — sensing the emotions, stories, and quiet truths held within each piece.
Alina has exhibited her work over the years at McAuley Place, as well as with the Naas Art Group during their Annual Exhibitions. Each show has allowed her to share her evolving artistic voice with the community.
This year has brought a new and exciting challenge as she prepared a diverse collection of paintings for ArtSource at the RDS — a milestone that reflects her dedication, growth, and passion for expanding her artistic reach.
